About 30 years ago I started my own home building company. That was the easy
part! Marketing and selling was the challenge. The only way to get
maximum exposure was to use a Broker and pay 5% of the sale price. The Broker had access
to the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) Not offering my property on MLS was like
driving a boat without a rudder. I needed my properties listed on MLS!
It doesn't matter who the broker is. What is important is that the
property is listed on MLS. I got fed up with paying a broker to place an ad in the
newspaper, open a door and collect 5% at the closing. So, I went to school and became my own
broker, joined MLS and sold my own properties by offering a cooperating broker 2.5%. If you
do the math I saved 2.5% on each home I sold.
Ten years ago I retired from the home building business and attended a weekend
seminar involving selling on the internet. This gave me an
idea. Being a broker, I could help people sell their own homes on the MLS with my
help. My flat fee listing service was born. Because of this, you have the
opportunity to do for yourself what I did 30 years ago. You however, won't have to become a
Broker and join the MLS. All you have to do is place your
order with me and everything will be taken care of.
