I would recommend MassForSaleByOwner to everyone trying to sell their house. I can't believe I sold my house without a realtor. I saved a ton on commission and only paid the buyers agent 2%. I wasn't sure that we could sell the house ourselves in a down market so far outside of Boston, but it is possible! You've got to have an MLS listing to get your property information out there to do it and MassForSaleByOwner.com is the cheapest one I found. You don't need all that other stuff offered by the other sites (signs, lockbox, etc.)--you can get that all at Home Depot. I'd definitely recommend this service--they are very responsive and quick in getting your listing up. I thought we'd just try it and list with a realtor if a we weren't getting any interest/offers. But we got calls right away and our house went under agreement in less than 2 months and just sold!
